Welcome to Gokarna Poojas. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the booking of our poojas, sevas, and related services.
In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Gokarna Poojas, operating as Gokarna Poojas. “You” refers to the person using our website or booking our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Please read these terms before making a booking. By booking a service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any service-specific conditions disclosed before payment.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into a contract. Bookings for minors must be made by a parent or legal guardian.
2. Scope of Services
Gokarna Poojas arranges and performs traditional Hindu poojas, sevas, and Vedic rituals in Gokarna, Karnataka.
The scope of each booking—including the ritual, location, date, priest arrangements, materials, and any additional services—will be specified in your booking confirmation.
Travel, accommodation, transport, meals, special temple access, photography, and delivery of prasadam are included only when expressly confirmed in writing. A booking does not guarantee access to restricted temple areas or priority entry.
3. Bookings and Confirmation
Bookings are subject to priest availability, ritual requirements, venue availability, and any applicable temple rules.
A booking is confirmed only after we issue written confirmation and receive the required payment. Submitting an enquiry or payment request alone does not confirm a booking.
Please check your confirmation and promptly report any incorrect names, dates, service details, or other information.
4. User Obligations
When using our website or services, you agree to:
Provide accurate contact, booking, and ritual-related information, including names, gotra, and sankalpa details where required.
Obtain permission before sharing another person’s personal information.
Pay the agreed charges within the communicated deadlines.
Arrive on time and follow preparation instructions provided before the ritual.
Follow reasonable safety instructions, temple rules, dress requirements, and local regulations.
Treat priests, staff, other devotees, and sacred spaces respectfully.
Avoid unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or disruptive conduct.
Incorrect information, late arrival, or failure to follow essential instructions may affect the service. We will explain available alternatives and any additional charges before proceeding
5. Prices and Payments
The applicable price, payment schedule, taxes, and any additional charges will be disclosed before you confirm your booking.
Services or materials requested beyond the confirmed scope may attract additional charges, subject to your approval.
We will not increase the agreed price of a confirmed booking without your consent. Please retain your payment receipt and booking confirmation
6. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds
Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund conditions will be provided before payment and will form part of your booking.
Please submit requests through our official contact channels, quoting your booking details. Any cancellation deductions must follow the terms disclosed before booking and applicable law.
If we cannot provide a confirmed service, we will notify you and offer an alternative arrangement or a refund for the service not provided, as applicable. Rescheduling is subject to availability and your agreement.
Nothing in this section limits any refund or remedy available under applicable law.
7. Ritual Procedures and Spiritual Outcomes
Ritual procedures may vary according to Vedic traditions, the nature of the pooja, priestly guidance, and temple requirements. Material changes to the confirmed service will be discussed with you.
Our services are religious and spiritual in nature. We do not guarantee specific spiritual, personal, financial, health, or other outcomes.
Spiritual guidance does not replace qualified medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
8. Changes Beyond Our Reasonable Control
Weather conditions, government restrictions, temple closures, natural disasters, or other events beyond our reasonable control may affect a scheduled service.
If this happens, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible and discuss rescheduling, alternative arrangements, or an applicable refund. Such events do not automatically remove your statutory rights.
9. Website Use and Content
You must not misuse our website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful software, or submit false or unlawful information.
Website text, designs, logos, and other materials owned by or licensed to Gokarna Poojas may not be copied, modified, or commercially reused without permission, except where permitted by law.
We aim to keep website information accurate. If an error affects your proposed booking, we will clarify it before confirmation. Any material correction affecting a confirmed booking will be discussed with you.
10. Privacy and Photography
Personal information collected through enquiries and bookings is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Photography and video recording are subject to temple rules and the consent of those involved. We will obtain appropriate consent before using identifiable photographs, videos, or testimonials for promotional purposes.
11. Responsibility and Liability
We will exercise reasonable care and skill when providing the services described in your booking confirmation.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by inaccurate information you provide, your failure to follow reasonable instructions, or third-party services you independently arrange.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, negligence where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, or any other responsibility that cannot be restricted under applicable law. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
Subject to applicable law, courts having competent jurisdiction over Gokarna, Uttara Kannada, Karnataka, will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or our services.
This clause does not restrict your right to approach a competent consumer commission or any other authority or forum available under applicable law.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms and publish the revised version on this page with an updated date.
The terms accepted when your booking was confirmed will continue to govern that booking unless you agree to a change or applicable law requires otherwise.
